Rick Ross Ft. Drake & French Montana – Stay Schemin

This is how you know Rozay ain’t playing with the hip hop community. Just after the Rich Forever mixtape being dropped, we already have the visuals of Stay Schemin with Drake and French Montana. Maybach Music group appear so powerful right now, a little reminiscent of Lil Wayne just before he brought along the rest of YMCMB on Bedrock. What the chances of the next MMG joint being just as big..? I guess we’ll just have to wait, but the future looks beautiful for MMG and their affiliates. For those who like to read into the poetry, you will hear all-sorts on this one especially in relation to the Drake and Common Sweet issue. Big boys wanna play, feelings get hurt.

Rick Ross – Rich Forever [Mixtape & Inside Look]

Here is a video of an inside look into the Rich Forever mixtape by the Ross. (Download at the bottom)

Rick Ross Rich Forever mixtape BeatsandCulture

After the dawn of the cover art and track list, we finally have the complete feature. Consisting of banger after banger of the same flow and persona that has made Rick Ross the star that he is. He obviously is aware of the power that he now holds in the rap game and that come across with the number of features that he has accumulated on this record. The implications of that are, the difficulties other artists have in getting just one feature, let alone to the extent of Rich Forever. The music is what it is, the beats are premiere so you know the explosion of artistry that was conjured in the multiple studios the record was created in. Just to show you how serious Ross is in cementing his name in hip hop history, he has another mixtape out with his label Maybach Music Group. The dude is a problem right about now and we don’t really see that letting up soon. Kudos.

Rick Ross Ft. Wale & Meek Mill – Bag of Money

Rick Ross Ft. Wale & Meek Mill - Bag of Money BeatsandCulture

Here is a joint from the Maybach Music Group boys, with a track entitled Bag of Money. Now don’t get it twisted, even though Rick Ross’s mixtape Rich Forever, this one is actually from another MMG project, MMG Uncut. It is a platform for MMG to show the world what they can do, and this is their first effort, first leaked effort anyhow.

Rick Ross – Rich Forever mixtape [cover art & tracklist]

Rick Ross Rich Forever Cover Art BeatsandCulture

With the advent of Rick Ross’s new mixtape Rich Forever coming out, we are handed a preview, intellectually at-least, of the tracklist and the accompanying cover art. The connotation of the cover art are up for debate, but sometimes it’s best not to over think these things. It is just music after-all. So let the music prevail, and we cannot wait for this one to drop, to see the creativity Ross can offer when the demands of an album release are lifted. Let’s all hope he goes all out on this one, experiments, creates and provides us with something new. If this one doesn’t tick those boxes then we know at-least the proposed mixtape with OVOXO’s Drake should handle the remaining issues. And as a side-note, it is quite foreboding having Drizzy feature the last track on this mixtape.
